It's pretty simple - ever since I was a little girl, I've been fascinated with names - be it a person's name or a city's name, etc. - and it's origins, which led to me studying linguistics and words - and eventually, culture and civilization, as well - I study the world. This community is established for individuals to add names or words of any kind and their origins to the community journal. Then, they'll be added to a website specifically for this community. Don't argue about meanings or spellings - there are diminutives of all kinds when it comes to names (and words) and origins, and all are welcomed. Anything else that is connected with names and their origins are welcomed, as well. It's okay to get a little off topic. With that said,

Enjoy :P
